micro blogging on twitter has made me a little lazy to blog in long paragraphs. haha. the convenience that twitter brings for spur-of-the-moment sorta blogging. but for good and solid archive sake, i will still have to blog here.
damn. it’s half way through the summer holidays. other than my siem reap trip, i havent felt like i have had much of a holiday yet. i had been rushing a flash presentation for antonio eraso co. for the past few weeks. with that down, i am finally having some real time to do my own stuff. plenty of stuff in store to do till the end of the hols and i will periodically update on the activities.
i kicked start my hols with reorganising various aspects of my life. first of my laptop. with my hdd space running out, i have migrated part of my itunes library onto my backup hdd. and i am almost done backing up and migrating all my personal photos onto iphoto. i am gonna relinquish control over my carefully organised folders and let iphoto a little bit of that for me. i realised that i do have a helluva truck load of photos. 50+gb in total! a lot of them are really really fond memories that i miss. a lot of them are with people i dont even hang out much anymore but also really missing those times. sigh. i have grown to be such a horrid friend really.
i have also bought a nice bookshelf from ikea. the $29 lergberg shelf unit to replace my old chipboard billy bookshelf that isnt doing very well under the weight of my fish tank. with that i had to reorganise my work area a little for maximum effectiveness. since i moved in last year, i havent quite taken photos of my bedroom-studio yet. so here are some pictures that feature the early beginnings and the present state.
